Magnificent large "Arts and Crafts" hanging bronze chandelier. Circa 1865. The lamp bears the inscription "Paravi Lucernum Christo Meo" (I have prepared a light for Christ). This was a medieval Gregorian chant (Ambrosian rite of the Roman Catholic Church).
The bronze Chandelier is totally in original condition with the place holders for 8 candles. Lovely condition and colour which changes depending on the light.
The chandelier is in total 65cm (25.5 inches) drop and diameter 38cm (15 inches)
