Lovely quality Cantonese Chinese Rose Mandarin porcelain plate with vibrant and highly detailed enamel and gilt decoration. This type of “Famille Rose” plate was made mainly for Europe or the USA so is classed as Export ware. It is a very fine example of this type of Chinese Medallion enamelled reticulated and gilded plates which points to it being an early example dating from around 1830's. Made during the Reign of the Emperor Daoguang (1820-1850)
This type of decoration is also often referred to as "Canton" ware. The plate features some really exquisite decoration featuring Butterflies, Plants & Flowers on a wonderful rich gold exterior border with a single central cartouche finely painted Palace garden scene of a group of courtiers and musicians in attendance to one of the Emperors Consorts in the Palace.

For International buyers they do not include any local taxes or customs duties, if applicable. That will be given as a separate invoice by your customs authorities directly to you.

RETURN & REFUND POLICY
For UK customers returns are accepted up to 14 days after receipt. The buyer is responsible for all shipping and insurance charges back to our warehouse. Refunds will be paid once the goods are checked for condition on return. Return goods may be subject for a restocking charge of 10% chargeable to the buyer
In all other case returns are not accepted except in the case of items not being as described in the listings. Buyer must inform us that the goods are not as listed within a maximum of 5 working days from receipt along with any photographic evidence to support the claim. Buyer is still responsible for return charges and shipping, but these will be refunded (shipping costs must be agreed by us prior to sending).
