A really lovely Chinese Rose Medallion porcelain Very Large Canton Vase and stand. The vase is decorated with vibrant and highly detailed enamel and gilt decoration and the classic gilded Chimera Dragon handles. This type of “Famille Rose” vase was made in the Canton region mainly for Europe or the USA, classed as Export ware. It is a very fine example of this type of Rose Medallion enamelled and gilded vase, likely dating from around the 1850-60s, most probably made during the Reign of the Emperor Xianfeng (1850-1861). The vase features exquisite decoration around the borders, including Birds, Plants, Flowers, and Butterflies. The panels alternate, showing finely painted Palace scenes or panels of birds, flowers, and fruits. The vase is sold with a more contemporary hardwood Chinese stand, which complements the whole look of the piece. Dimensions: Height with Stand 56cm (22 inches)

Good Condition - However when bought it was sold as A/F but I have never been able to find any repair.
