Large, rare and Magnificent quality Chinese export punch bowl.
This large bowl is 28.5cm (just under 11.25 inches) and has a depth of 13.5cm (5.25 inches)
Dating from the Mid 18th Century this remarkable bowl would have been made most probably for the European market . The design is beautifully and exquisitely drawn and painted.
This large porcelain delicately potted bowl is painted in overglaze enamel painting of various figures in palace gardens, set with landscape scenes in underglaze puce glaze, intricately drawn cartouches with floral designs, all against a diaper geometric rouge enamel patterning and a profusion of Gold gilding which seems to have avoided too much rubbing or wear.
The design is very sophisticated and required great skill to produce.
A really superb example of these types of wares being produced in China in the 18th Century

Good condition for its age . Signs of professional restoration of a crack but almost invisible to the eye.

RETURN & REFUND POLICY
For UK customers returns are accepted up to 14 days after receipt. The buyer is responsible for all shipping and insurance charges back to our warehouse. Refunds will be paid once the goods are checked for condition on return. Return goods may be subject for a restocking charge of 10% chargeable to the buyer
In all other case returns are not accepted except in the case of items not being as described in the listings. Buyer must inform us that the goods are not as listed within a maximum of 5 working days from receipt along with any photographic evidence to support the claim. Buyer is still responsible for return charges and shipping, but these will be refunded (shipping costs must be agreed by us prior to sending).
