Stunning large late18thC /early 19th Century faience Parrot on stand of impressive size being 42cm (16.5") tall.
Beautifully modelled with a blue and white decoration of flowers and foliate.
The parrot has glass eyes and I believe it is probably French or possibly Italian in origin.
A very decorative and collectable tin-glazed item and quite rare to find. The blue decoration is of a wonderful colour.
The parrot is signed by the maker
