Large French 19th century ormolu on bronze with onyx decorative panels by the famous clock maker Vincenti of Paris - Circa 1869.  One of the famous French clock makers of the 19th century. 

This is an exceptional quality clock with all the original Bronze Ormolu mounts and a beautiful alabaster / onyx panels and clock face. The pendulum is the original to the clock stamped with the same number as the movement.

The clock stands 38cm (15 inches) tall

The movement features a "Brocot" escapement and suspension. A sign of the finest French clocks of the period. The clock is very much in the Louis XVI  / Empire taste.
It features a beautiful Onyx /Alabaster dial. The clock chimes with a bell, which strikes on the half and full hours.
Other features:
Ormolu bronze body with vases, Mystical figures and goats heads in the 18th Century style.
Stunning gilt clock. 8 day movement.
This is a far better quality clock than most French mantel clocks of the period.
The clock movement is a two train movement meaning it strikes the Hours and half hours.
