Wonderful large French 19th century ormolu on bronze with Sevres Porcelain dial and decorative panels decorated clock by the famous clock retailer /maker Marc of Paris - Circa 1865.  One of the famous French clock retailers/makers of the 19th Century. The movement is produced by Japy & Fries Co, also one of the best known and respected Clock movement manufacturers

The clock is very much in the Louis XV Baroque taste.

It features a beautiful Sevres porcelain dial

The clock chimes with a bell, which strikes on the half and full hours.
