A beautiful, classic Arita Japanese Imari barber's bowl from the late 17th century. This is a nice example of an early Imari dish in great condition. The interior features rich cobalt blue underglaze decoration with red enamel and true gold gilding. Photos have been taken under natural light to avoid any distortion of color.
