Superb reticulated late Edo / early Meiji period oval Imari dish 40cm wide coming from the Arita region kilns.  A wonderful example  of the finest Imari porcelain dating to circa 1850

Dish is decorated in underglaze cobalt blue, iron red overglaze enamels and 14 carat gold gilding.
This is one of the finest dishes of its type that I have seen. The reticulation work is outstanding.
All in excellent condition.
