Absolutely stunning large French Bronze bust by French Sculptor Jean Bulio (1827-1911) dating I believe to the mid to late 19th Century. Signed by the Artist and with the initials EC of the French Foundry.
The subject matter is I believe is French President , Marie Francoise Sadi Carnot. Born in Limoges in 1837.
A famous politician and Statesman, he was President of France from 1887 until he was tragically assassinated in 1894.
Awarded the "Ordre national de La Legion d'honneur" which is, and was in the 19th Century, the highest order of Merit possible in France.
Jean Bulio born 1827 in Fabregues, South France. He was enrolled in the Prestigious Ecole de Beaux Arts in 1859. Very much a Classical sculptor he produced many outstanding and notable works of Art during his lifetime.
This is a wonderfully patinated French 19th Century Bronze in excellent condition

RETURN & REFUND POLICY
For UK customers returns are accepted up to 14 days after receipt. The buyer is responsible for all shipping and
insurance charges back to our warehouse. Refunds will be paid once the goods are checked for condition on return.
Return goods may be subject for a restocking charge of 10% chargeable to the buyer
In all other cases returns are not accepted except in the case of items not being as described in the listings. Buyer
must inform us that the goods are not as listed within a maximum of 5 working days from receipt along with any
photographic evidence to support the claim. Buyer is still responsible for return charges and shipping, but these will
be refunded (shipping costs must be agreed by us prior to sending).
