Lovely Historic MARINE scene of the Steamer "City of Dortmund" passing Blackrock Castle in Cork, Ireland.
This was painted around the 1850's-1860's and is a fascinating insight into the days of the Steamer vessels
Very much of the English School of Marine painting this is of good size and I am checking to see if I can change the more modern frame for a period frame which would benefit the painting..
A small part of the large collection of Marine paintings we have. This one I find as one of my favourites and is very attractive when hung on a wall
