Lovely Meiji Period Pair of Enamel decorated gold flake vases. Lovely deep colour and quality. The vases are etched signed with the initials am sometimes used by the Ando company.
The decoration of geometric patterns and flowers in panels with gold flakes applied into the enamel. The other areas are brass or silver swirls applied in a very dark graphite ground.
The enamel work is in good condition but the brass base caps and rim have had a few small knocks. Priced to reflect this
