Magnificent 17th Century William and Mary Walnut period stool with rare original needlework cover. The stool features wonderful Baroque reversed scrolled Flemish Scroll legs and front and back beautifully carved and pierced scroll stretchers. A very similar stool can be found in the highly respected "The Dictionary of English Furniture" Ralph Edwards Page 173 from Knole House, England. The stool also features a heavily fringed and tasselled Genoa silk trim which would be correct for the period. In my opinion, though antique and of some age, this trim is possibly a later replacement . We have a large collection of William & Mary, Queen Anne and early Georgian furniture which will be progressively be put up on line in the near future

Shipping prices to all locations will be automatically shown when purchasing an item. These prices are for registered shipping. Collection is also possible. For International buyers they do not include any local taxes or customs duties, if applicable. That will be given as a separate invoice by your customs authorities directly to you.

RETURN & REFUND POLICY
For UK customers returns are accepted up to 14 days after receipt. The buyer is responsible for all shipping and insurance charges back to our warehouse. Refunds will be paid once the goods are checked for condition on return. Return goods may be subject for a restocking charge of 10% chargeable to the buyer
In all other case returns are not accepted except in the case of items not being as described in the listings. Buyer must inform us that the goods are not as listed within a maximum of 5 working days from receipt along with any photographic evidence to support the claim. Buyer is still responsible for return charges and shipping, but these will be refunded (shipping costs must be agreed by us prior to sending).
